Foundation of Solo Theopneustos

PREFACE The Foundation of Solo Theopneustos sets forth the teachings, principles, and convictions of the Church grounded in the belief that The Word Alone, as the Life Giving breath (Theopneustos) of God, is the source of divine life, union, and truth. It is intended as a guide for believers to live in spiritual communion with Christ and one another, recognizing the Spirit’s active, life-giving power in the Word.

PART I: THE RULE OF FAITH

1. What is Solo Theopneustos? Solo Theopneustos is the doctrine that Only The Word, being the living breath of God, is the sole source of spiritual life, union with Christ, and divine authority. It affirms the active, life-generating nature of the Word.

2. How is the Word of God received? The Word is received in the spirit by faith. It is not dead letters but the breath of God, capable of entering the soul and enlivening the believer.

3. Is Scripture sufficient for the Christian life? . No. Scripture is not sufficient. merely informative but transformative. In its words are the breath and power of God.

4. What is the nature of truth in Solo Theopneustos? Truth is not propositional alone, but incarnational—made manifest through Christ and living in the unity of believers who receive and live the breathed Word.

5. Can the Church add to or interpret the Word with final authority? No. The Church may witness, proclaim, and clarify, but it cannot authoritatively add to or alter the breathed truth already present in the Word.

PART II: GOD, MAN, AND SALVATION

6. Who is God? God is Spirit, Life, Light, Truth and Love. He is revealed through His breath in Scripture and incarnated in Christ.

7. What is man? Man is a vessel of spirit, created in the image of God to live in communion with Him and others through the reception of His breath.

8. What is sin? Sin is the rejection of the Breath of God, a turning away from life, unity, and truth.

9. What is salvation? Salvation is being made alive by the Spirit through the Word, brought into union with Christ and the Body of believers.

10. Is salvation dependent on institutions or sacraments? No. While sacraments may reflect divine truths, salvation flows directly from union with the breathed Word.

PART III: THE BODY AND THE SPIRIT

11. What is the Church? The Church is the assembly of those who are alive in Christ through the breathed Word, bound not by institution but by Spirit.

12. How do believers relate to one another? Each believer is united in the same breath of God. Life in Christ is communal, not individualistic.

13. What is baptism? Baptism is the outward sign of being immersed into the living breath of God. It is the seal of life, not the source of it.

14. What is the meaning of the bread and wine? The bread and wine represent partaking in the life of Christ and His body. It is a spiritual participation, not a metaphysical transformation.

15. How do we remain in Christ? By abiding in the Word, receiving His breath daily, and loving one another as members of one spiritual body.

PART IV: THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER

16. How should a believer live? In constant reception of the breath of God through Scripture, prayer, love, and communion with the brethren.

17. Is guilt a sign of holiness? No. Guilt is a sign that the breath has not been received. Those truly in Christ are free from guilt and can now do the will of God.

18. What is holiness? Holiness is spiritual vitality—life lived fully in union with God’s breath.

19. What role does the conscience play? The Spirit-renewed conscience aligns with the breathed Word, bearing witness in truth and conviction.

20. What happens to those outside the breath? They remain in death, for life is found only in the Spirit-breathed Word.

PART V: THE END AND THE HOPE

21. What is the believer’s hope? To be fully united with Christ in glory, alive eternally in the breath of God.

22. What is the end of history? All things will be brought under the headship of Christ. The breathed Word will be all in all.

23. Will the breathed Word cease? Never. It is eternal. Even in glory, we shall live by His breath.

24. What is the final state of man? To be perfectly alive, in full communion with Christ and one another.

25. What is the calling of the Church? To proclaim the breath of God, awaken the dead, and build up those alive in the Spirit.
